1511 Sundell Holden
Sundell Holden differs a little from some of my recent works being that isn’t very historically significant or important.
The architecture is common in many existing buildings, and this kind of business is ubiquitous all over Sydney and Australia.

The focus of Sundell Holden is more about the fact that this has been walked away from and left to become what is an unauthorised creative space for street artists, and the occasional photographer.
I think it exhibits the full spectrum of graffiti from wanton vandalism and clearly inexperienced tagging to highly creative pieces in which a lot of time and practice has been put into developing the craft over many years.
I’m not too sure what the story is that goes with the building. For whatever reason, the business shut down and what remains is an ever changing canvas.
