The Eveleigh Paint Shop forms part of the Eveleigh Railway Workshops, which also consisted of the locomotive works manager’s office, carriage workshops, locomotive workshops, large erecting shop, new engine shop, timber shed, store & ACDEP depot.
Ashio Copper Mine
Ashio Copper Mine began operations around the 1600’s in Tochigi prefecture, Japan, and was originally owned by the Tokugawa shogunate, the last feudal Japanese military government.
Kandos Cement Works
With a long and proud history associated with the site, the town of Kandos itself came into being as a means to support the cement works, constructed in 1914.

Box Hill Brickworks
The Box Hill Brickworks was established the site in 1884 and continued production until 1892 when it was closed as a result of the depression.
Abandoned Shoe Factory
Unfortunately, I can’t really offer much in the way of the history of this Abandoned Shoe Factory. I shot this site in 2011, not long after I began photographing abandoned buildings.
Bradmill Denim was the first time I had ever (allegedly) entered and abandoned property to take photos, not long after I first bought my camera while we were living in Melbourne.
