The rear residence of the former post office complex appears from above. Its roof has collapsed, revealing interior rooms. Weathered walls and encroaching vegetation mark the building's slow decay.

04 FROM THE FIELD NOTES

Corrugated iron roof stretches across the full frame, rust bleeding through in wide copper streaks. Two brick chimneys rise from the ridgeline. The rear verandah has partly collapsed, exposing grey weatherboard and bare timber framing. A corrugated water tank sits against the back wall, half-swallowed by scrub. Bare deciduous trees press against every side. Green grass grows thick where foot traffic stopped long ago.
