The main workshop building at Elrington Colliery, with the gantry of the 15-tonne overhead crane visible above the roofline. Standard-gauge rail ran through the floor for coal wagon access and repair. BHP built the workshops as part of the surface infrastructure completed between 1925 and 1930.
