Worn chairs sit in the waiting room of Kuwashima Orthopaedic Clinic. Dust covers every surface as light filters through grimy windows. Peeling paint reveals layers of time within this long-abandoned medical facility.

About this print
A vinyl bench sits in the centre of the ground-floor lobby, its chrome legs corroded brown. Ceiling panels hang at angles. Plaster has separated from the walls in broad sheets, exposing damp concrete beneath. A small "W.C." sign marks a doorway to the left. Behind the bench, a red Coca-Cola vending machine stands upright against the far wall, its branding still legible. Debris covers the floor. Light enters from a single window, flat and grey.
