A dense cluster of oxidised pipes dominates the frame, their corroded surfaces bearing the marks of time. This scene captures the slow reclamation of an abandoned industrial site, a relic of Australia's past.

04 FROM THE FIELD NOTES

White steel towers rise from low, green-brown pastureland under a flat grey sky. Dozens of three-blade turbines stand in staggered rows, their nacelles angled into the wind. The nearest tower dominates the frame, its hub level with the overcast cloud base. Bare earth and scrub surround the concrete foundations. No trees. No fences. The scale is disorienting.
