A wide timber door on hanging rollers inside the main engine house at Elrington Colliery, looking out toward the bush surrounding the site. The engine house contained the winding machinery for the mine's shafts, sunk 363 metres to the Main Greta Seam. Part of the Elrington Colliery series.
