A wide view of the main guest room, once the most generously sized of those upstairs.
A fireplace anchors the corner, blackened from decades past, while the plaster above has broken away to reveal corroded ceiling tin beneath. Light from the open shutter spills across the textured carpet, illuminating scattered upholstery filling and a cluster of mismatched chairs. One of the few surviving brass light fixtures hangs overhead, still clinging to the ornate ceiling rose.
This was likely a premium room at the Terminus Hotel, now faded but still layered with traces of its former comfort.
