From the field notes

A red-painted timber cabin sits on a wide concrete paver courtyard surrounded by eucalyptus bush. A brick barbecue stands at the edge of the hardstand, its steel hotplate dark with rust. Dried palm fronds and leaf litter cover the pavers. Weeds push through the joints. Chain-link fencing marks the perimeter. Overcast sky presses low through the canopy.
