WHAT YOU'RE BUYING

Product Information

Every print is signed, numbered, and made to order. Here's what that means in practice.

About these prints

All prints are made to order from the original RAW file and produced using archival pigment inks. Production takes 5 to 10 business days. Limited editions are individually numbered and signed, and are not reissued once they sell through.

Provenance

Lost Collective is the work of one photographer, Brett Patman, documenting decommissioned buildings across Australia and Japan since 2011. The archive was founded in 2015 and was recognised in the Multimedia section of the 2016 National Trust of Australia (NSW) Heritage Awards.

Every Limited Edition print ships with a hand-signed Certificate of Authenticity and a C2PA verified manifest. The manifest signs the file the print was rendered from and records the camera, the moment of capture, and the edit history back to the original RAW. See verified provenance for how it works.

Prints are produced in Sydney, Australia. Acrylic prints are face-mounted in Sydney. The full chain of custody, from camera to finished print, sits inside Australia.

Paper

Unframed and framed prints are produced on Ilford Galerie Smooth Cotton Rag 310 gsm, a 100% cotton fine art paper. Acrylic prints are produced on Ilford Galerie Metallic Gloss 260 gsm.

Limited editions

Limited editions are available in sizes M, L, and XL. The M edition is 100 prints. The L edition is 50 prints. The XL edition is 25 prints. Edition counts cover all formats combined (unframed, framed, and acrylic). Each print is numbered and signed by Brett. Once an edition sells through, it is not reproduced.

Open editions

Open editions are available in XS and S. They are unnumbered but personally signed and titled by Brett. Produced on the same paper and with the same inks as limited editions. Open editions are signed and titled on the print. They do not carry an individual edition number or a Certificate of Authenticity.

Framing

Framed prints use a 2 cm sustainably sourced timber frame, available in raw, white, or black. Each framed print includes a white border. Custom framing options are available on request. Limited editions are signed, titled, dated, and numbered.

Acrylic prints

Acrylic prints are face-mounted onto 6 mm toughened, low-iron acrylic with a bevelled edge. The mounting system is concealed, producing a floating appearance. Mounting hardware and installation instructions are included. Acrylic prints are available in limited edition sizes M, L, and XL only.

Sizes

Each format has its own physical dimensions. Print area is the photograph itself; unframed paper adds a signed border; framed adds a timber frame; acrylic is edge to edge.
