Two pale wheel tracks run along an unsealed road as it bends right into a hazy middle distance at New Buildings, in the Bega Valley hinterland of New South Wales. The low vantage presses close to scattered pebbles and dry tufts at the road's edge. A wire fence runs the left margin, its posts receding into the glare of a broad sunflare that bleaches the upper sky. Sparse eucalypts and open paddock country stretch out beyond.
