A brick chimney rises from the roofline, its mortar cracked and lichen-spotted. A rusted metal cowl sits crooked at the top, jagged edges bent outward. The corrugated iron roof is blotched with rust, its original colour nearly gone. Green-painted guttering runs along the eaves. Bare branches press against the brickwork. The sky behind is flat, overcast, colourless.
