Sunlight casts long shadows across the decaying verandah of the old post office. Paint peels from the timber, revealing layers of time. This structure once served a community, now it endures the elements.

A green corrugated iron roof bows away from the timber frame, pulling free at the edge. The verandah door hangs open on rusted hinges, its plywood face still intact against weathered slab walls behind it. Bark peels from the vertical slabs in long strips, exposing soft grey wood beneath. Scrub pushes through broken floorboards. Ferns and creepers fill the entrance.
