The main bedroom floor of The Post Office lies beneath a thick blanket of dust and debris. Faded linoleum and scattered plaster reflect the slow, quiet abandonment of this historic structure.

Pinpoints of daylight pierce the corrugated iron walls. The floor is buried under a thick mat of collapsed ceiling insulation, broken timber framing, and shredded fabric. Paint peels from rough-hewn posts in long curls, exposing dark wood beneath. A canvas bag sits slumped against the debris in the far corner. The air looks dense with dust and fibre.
