Seen from above, the residence and its adjacent outbuilding sit almost entirely surrendered to overgrowth at Big Hill Post Office. The L-shaped roof of the main building grades from deep amber rust to near-black where sheets have buckled. Dense thorny scrub has advanced across what was once a fenced yard, swallowing the outbuilding's walls on 3 sides.

About this print
Seen from above, the old residence has almost entirely surrendered to the paddock. The iron roof holds its shape but little else does. Give it another decade and you won't find it from the road.
