A single bed frame sits raised on metal legs, its stained mattress still intact. The timber-lined ceiling is dark with moisture. Wallpaper peels from the walls in heavy sheets, exposing bare boards beneath. A calendar or small poster clings to the wall beside the bed. Light enters through a broken window where vegetation presses inward. Cardboard boxes, plastic bins, and scattered fabric cover the floor. The air looks thick with damp.
