From the field notes

A high-ceilinged industrial hall opens at ground level, its pitched steel roof beams crossing overhead in near-darkness. Graffiti covers every vertical surface. Bold silver and black lettering stretches across the far wall. The concrete floor is wet, stained, scattered with broken timber and debris. Pale light enters through doorways on either side but reaches only partway across the room. The air looks heavy, damp.
