A length of blue cord trails beside it. Scattered debris, plastic bottles, and paint chips cover the ground. Low light cuts sideways through the subfloor space, casting long shadows from the posts and cross-braces. Macquarie Boys Technology High School operated in the Sydney suburb of Parramatta from 1959 until its closure in 2002. The school provided technical education to boys across western Sydney for over four decades. The campus sat empty for years before eventual demolition to make way for redevelopment.
