A cast-iron stove sits alone at the centre of a wide concrete floor. Rust covers every surface of the metal, deep orange against the grey slab. Behind it, a steel flue pipe rises to the ceiling. Pale cream brick walls run the length of the workshop. Sliding timber doors stand half open, letting flat daylight spill across the ground. Several window panes are boarded with plywood. Others are clouded with grime. The concrete is pocked and oil-stained.
